-We began by talking about field trips. We have two coming up.

-The NHETG Fall Workshop on October 13th and
The Anselmain players' presentation of As You Like it on November 13th.

-Then, we watched a scene from Elf and answered the questions for the first half of Journal entry # 2.

-Finally, we watched and analyzed Coldplay's "The Scientist" video. This we used to analyze directorial concept and became the second half of Journal entry #2.

Your homework is to attempt to find the dramatic center of your song. This is Journal entry #3 and worth 10 points in the P competency.

-Narrow your songs down to one for analysis.
1) Find the dramatic center of that song.
2) Provide me with the dramatic center, and then..
3)Give me three quotes (or pieces of evidence from the song) that support it.
For each quote, explain how it supports the dramatic center.
